Lady Nalia and Nyrin from Lynn Flewelling's saga: The tamir triad.
I have a lot of compassion for Nalia, she's a really sad character. She has been seduced by Nyrin who raised her (after killing her mother, but she didn't know that), and then, he has thrown her into the young king's bed in order to gave him a heir.
And everyone named her "ugly" because of her big birth mark on her face and on her neck.
